Hi, I'm Daniel.
I am a jewelry designer and maker. I live and work in northern Israel in the Ein Hod Artists' Village.
I have been involved in jewelry making for 18 years. I started as a girl playing with metals and continued with a bachelor's degree in the Department of Jewelry Making and Design at the "Shenker" Academic College of Design and Engineering.
My attraction to the field of jewelry comes from a family with deep roots in the goldsmithing arts.
My father ran the prospecting department at the Bezalel Academy for 17 years, and from him I drew my knowledge and attraction to traditional techniques and technology. My mother, originally a ceramic artist, transferred her talents to the jewelry she creates and approaches her work with creativity and intuition - contrary to my father's learned opinions, "that you should work by the book."
I find my art between these two worlds. I combine classical techniques with contemporary technologies and disparate styles, a fusion I call: modern-antique.

For example, one of my previous collections was inspired by the works of a Japanese artist.
The way I play with colors and shapes in my latest designs can be attributed to various cultural motifs.
I also enjoy using all kinds of unusual patterns and textures, with great attention to small and delicate details.
